J & C Meadows believe that Health & Safety is very important. We confirm that we fully comply with the CDM Regulations on all sites and keep up to date with new legislations. We advise employees and clients of their responsibilities and duties, liaise with the architects for preparation of the health & safety project plan and liaise with all subcontractors, collecting the necessary information from them such as instructions, operation manuals and maintenance manuals for inclusion in the health & safety file. When necessary, Risk Assessment and Method Statements are also issued, to ensure that all risks and methods have been covered before works are carried out. All employees responsible for running sites, supervisors, foremen and contracts managers have all recently successfully completed the course through the CITB for 'The Site Management Training Scheme for the Building & Civil Engineering Industries' (SMSTS). The Company Director has successfully completed a course for 'National Certificate in Construction Safety & Health' (NEBOSH).
